ABC's 'Dancing With The Stars' Announces Its Celebrity Lineup For The New Season, Highlight Hollywood News

ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” announced its lineup this morning at a press conference from Hollywood, and this year, finally, we have star power. Last season, we were stuck with Nancy Grace whining, and having wardrobe malfunctions, running down the TMZ trucks every day or at Harvey’s office at TMZ trying to get attention, making her “so-called” justice show all about her lack of dancing skills and her burning desire to be a star. For the last few weeks she’s been out here trying to make a headline, while also making sure everyone at “DWTS” knew she was in town. They are so over her; thankfully, and this year, my pal Jack Wagner joins the cast, and there are over a dozen REAL STARS this time, all ready to rumble!

From North Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre Brooke Burke and Tom Bergeron announced the latest season’s contestants, who will be vying for the Mirror Ball trophy this year.  The season kicks off on March 19 on ABC, and then my pal of 30 years, Lauralee Bell guest-stars on “Castle,” in a role that is reminiscent of Paula Abdul’s persona on “American Idol” and “The X-Factor.”

“Melrose Place” and “B&B” actor Jack Wagner will dance with Anna Trebunskaya, “Little House on the Prairie” star Melissa Gilbert will dance with the legendary Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Green Bay Packers wide-receiver Donald Driver will dance with Peta
Murgatroyd “The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd will dance with Val Chmerkovsky, Opera great Katherine Jenkins will dance with Mark Ballas, Singer Gavin DeGraw will dance with Karina Smirnoff, last year’s champion coach.

Also, tennis player Martina Navratilova will dance with Tony Dovolani “Shake It Up” actor Roshon Fegan will dance with Chelsie Hightower, TV host Maria Menounous will dance with Derek Hough, “Family Matters” star Jaleel White will dance with former champ Kym Johnson.

And then there is the iconic singer Gladys Knight, who is 67-years-old, and she will dance with Tristan MacManus. Tristan was stuck with the legal scream queen last year, but this year, he’s truly (dancing with a star)! How much do you want to bet, that Nancy will ask them to appear on her HLN “Nancy Grace” show, so she can stretch out her attention grabbing desires a little longer? Please get this woman off TV.

Sherri Shepherd said that she’s scared and “I need Barbara Walters!” Sorry Sherri, Barbara can’t help you now, darling! While Jaleel said, “I’m doing it for my mom!”
This should be a fun season filled with star power and true talent.  Let the fun begin!
