Speaking exclusively with Highlight Hollywood, Rene Thurston tells our readers about a major upside to attending the Burbank Supernatural Convention, known as BURCON. The fact that funds were raised for charity, St. Jude’s specifically meant a great deal to the legendary journalist, who writes for Riverside Examiner.  “Tommy, Actor Jared Padalecki, who stars in the CW horror hit Supernatural, was in awe on Sunday when he was presented with a special gift for he and his wife, who is expecting the couple’s first child. Fans can still be a part of that gift,” said Rene.

“Fans are donating to St. Jude’s as a gift to Jared and Gen Padalecki’s baby, which is due to be born any day now! The Padalecki’s are matching the donation,” Thurston added.
Padalecki, who plays Sam, one half of the popular sibling slayers the Winchester brothers, was attending the Salute to Supernatural Convention in Burbank, CA this weekend, along with his on-screen brother, Jensen Ackles and many of the show’s current and former cast.
