Angelina And Jada's Strong Men And Jenny McCarthy Spotted At Hef's Playboy Mansion In The Hills, Highlight Hollywood Exclusive

This week in The Hills, it’s all abuzz about Angelina’s engagement ring from longtime love Brad Pitt. The couple’s representative told Highlight Hollywood on Friday that the rumors were indeed true, but pointed out that no date has been set yet. I’ll let you know when my invitation arrives in the mail!  They have my address!  So no excused, Brad and Angie.  Also, everyone wants to know about the Beverly Hills jewelry Robert Procop, the handsome and famous man who designed the rock. Well, we can tell you all about him. Plus Jada Pinkett Smith says, she’s sorry this is her year and Will’s to be talked about in Hollywood, and where did Jenny McCarthy take son Evan for an Easter egg hunt? My neighbor Hugh Hefner can tell you where, indeed! Yes, the Playboy mansion, and Master Evan is now smitten. Meow!
Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and son Pax were seen recently viewing a piece of art at  LACMA’s Chinese collection in Los Angeles, when the curator or someone at the museum snapped a photograph of Angie’s hand, and on it? An engagement ring. Soon after Brad and Angie’s representative told Highlight Hollywood, People and other media outlets, it’s true. Though no date is set yet, Angie’s ring is set to rival that of the late Princess Diana and Kate Middleton’s.  But the person who is garnering even more publicity about the ring in Holly is famed Beverly Hills jeweler Robert Procop. He is the man behind the actress’s engagement ring.

After a rep confirmed on Friday that Pitt and Jolie will tie the knot, the Internet was buzzing about Procop, who worked with the Academy Award winner, 36, on her “Style of Jolie” jewelry line last year. However, even though Procop was well-known to those of us in The Hills, he’s now known around the world, not just to those – who have shopped in Beverly Hills, Geneva and Hong Kong.

Procop collaborated with Pitt,  for a year on creating the beautiful bauble. But here are some additional things to know. Here are some other tidbits about Robert.  Procop’s Beverly Hills store is open by appointment only. His shop is located on Dayton Way and Rodeo Drive, right in the heart of 90210, or as we call it, the Golden Triangle District. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy to find. Tucked away in a private location, an address to the place is not given freely over the phone. The designer sees clients on an appointment-only basis.

Procop’s jewelry is also worn by Robert Downey Jr.’s wife Robert’s better half, Susan, stepped out this week at the L.A. premiere of “The Avengers,” sporting amethyst jewelry made by Procop in honor of their new son Exton’s birthstone. At the 2011 Oscars, she also wore earrings Procop designed with Jolie.

His jewelry success paid his way through college. Procop’s teenage years were spent buying and selling diamonds. He became so well established as a gemstone trader that he was able to afford his university studies all on his own. He went on to open his Beverly Hills shop during his final year of school. And he loves working with Angie on her jewelry line. “Angelina embodies sensual elegance, serene confidence and incomparable spirit,” Procop tells Highlight Hollywood. “From one endeavor, her creative vision draws two equally impressive outcomes: to transform the finest gems into transcendent works of art, and ultimately, to improve the lives of many who are in need.”

And for many years, Robert Procop has been involved in the L.A.-based non profit the House of Ruth, which helps families affected by domestic violence. According to his website, Procop bought and developed two shelters for the charity. The jeweler also “unequivocally supports Angelina Jolie’s charitable efforts helping children living in regions of conflict around the globe,” says the site.

Jada Pinkett Smith is fed up with rumors swirling around about the alleged demise of her marriage to Hollywood’s top gun Will Smith.  After a couple years of marriage in this town, you can always expect the naysayers to proclaim the marriage is over. Which is one of the millions of reasons why I have stayed single!  This is not a town that makes commitment easy, and there is very little support for marriage, because scandals and even lies create wealth for the media, and not just in Tinseltown these days.  But beautiful actress and star Jada recently did an interview, and she had plenty to say.

Asked why the speculation won’t go away, she tells French magazine Gala: “I have no idea! Every year, one celebrity couple is under the microscope. This year, unluckily, it’s us! I almost want to say that we should have been expecting it.”

“Will and I know the truth. We’re waiting peacefully for the storm to blow over,” said Jada. Jada, does however acknowledge that she and Will, 43, spend lots of time apart. “But it’s always been that way, she adds.”

“These rumors are completely untrue,” she says. “I travel a lot because of my work, just like Will does. … But our lifestyle hasn’t changed. Before we had the kids, we were already far away from each other quite often because of separate projects.”

Asked about the rumor that they no longer live under the same roof, she replies: “That’s ridiculous. We’ve always lived together.”

Things aren’t about to slow down, either. Will is currently filming the M. Night Shyamalan movie After Earth with Jaden, 13. And this summer, Jada will be hitting the road with Willow, 11, who is going on tour as a singer.

“As a mom, I’m very proud to see them pursuing the things they love,” says Jada. “We leave them enough space to express themselves and make their dreams come true. We leave them free to make their own choices. We try not to live through them.”

Jenny McCarthy took her adorable son Evan to the Playboy Mansion Easter Bunny hunt last week. And guess what? Tyke Evan is already a Casanova his mother said.  “I brought him to the Playboy Mansion Easter Bunny hunt for the first time, and he was out of his mind,” McCarthy, 39, told Us Weekly at The London hotel Wednesday at her Pose for a Cause event with Danskin in L.A. McCarthy also said that she lost Evan for “probably 45 minutes” in the Mansion — ultimately finding him hanging out in the infamous Grotto. “And I went in there and he’s laying there going, ‘Hey.’ And I said, ‘Yeah?’ and he said, ‘You know I like chicks, right?’ And I said, ‘That’s great!’ And he goes, ‘I like pretty chicks.’ So I said, ‘Awesome!’” “I’m like, Oh. My. God! He’s 9!” she exclaimed. “So you can imagine, if Hef’s parties are still going on in a few years, I’m in trouble!”

Evan then announced, “I just thought I’d come out and tell you.”

The event supported McCarthy’s charity, Generation Rescue, which is an organization dedicated to the recovery of children with autism spectrum disorders. Evan, 9, was diagnosed with autism in 2005.
