Bee Gee’s Robin Gibbs’s Son Speaks Out In The Last Hours Of Father’s Life, Highlight Hollywood News

Robin Gibb of the iconic group the Bee Gees remains in very grave condition on Sunday in a hospital. “Sadly the reports are true that Robin has contracted pneumonia and is in a coma,” reads a statement from his representative. “We are all hoping and praying that he will pull through.” In an eerie coincidence, Robin’s twin Maurice, who was also a founding member of the hit group, died of intestinal complications in 2003.

The singer’s son Robin-John, told the Daily Mail, “My dad has had a hard recovery from cancer. When you get rid of the cancer a lot of periphery problems can occur. This is so sad.”

In October 2011, the singer, who is 62, fell ill with intestinal problems. He was later diagnosed with liver and colon cancer, but had made a recovery. On Friday, however, it was reported that he’d been hospitalized again. A source close to the ailing musician tells Highlight Hollywood, “Robin’s family are all by his side, they are devastated. Right now it looks very bad, and the doctors have told the family it’s just a matter of hours or days.”

Keep Robin and the Gibb family in your prayers.
