Jaleel White Kicked Off ‘Dancing With The Stars’, Melissa And Roshon Saved, Highlight Hollywood News

While Monday night’s episode of Dancing with the Stars” had its highs – Maria Menounos and Derek Hough got the first perfect 30 of the season! – it also had its lows. Melissa Gilbert and an injured Maksim Chmerkovskiy let the judges down with a 21-point tango that left the pair in last place, while Jaleel White and Kym Johnson were in second-to-last place with 24 points for their waltz. Meanwhile, Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower improved from last week with a 25-point tango.

So, which of the night’s low-scoring couples were sent packing after Tuesday night’s results show? It should have been Melissa and Maks, but they  were declared safe, leaving Roshon and Chelsie to go up against Jaleel and Kym in the dance duel. After performing a pair of sweat and tear-filled rumbas, the judges made their decision.

“This is not easy. Side by side you guys are pretty much equal,” said Carrie Ann Inaba, who picked Roshon and Chelsie to stay. Len Goodman agreed with her choice, and Bruno Tonioli made it unanimous.

“I really only thought I’d last about three dances this competition,” Jaleel said as his time on the show ended, “so to get this far – I’ve made incredible friends, the fans have been incredible. I love Roshon Fegan … I’m glad they saved him.”
