‘The Walking Dead’ Season Premiere Available For DISH Customers Online, After That You Must Switch Your Cable Provider, Highlight Hollywood News
Over the summer some viewers of AMC learned that their provider (DISH) would no longer offer their customers the cable network. AMC is one of cable’s best. They have groundbreaking and award-winning series such ad “The Walking Dead,” “Breaking Bad,” “Hell On Wheels” and “Mad Men.” Well, since DISH dropped AMC, the cable network has continued to encourage people to switch from the satellite cable provider to a service that does carry their channel.
The network is making an effort to keep their show’s viewers, and their longstanding battle with DISH has created such acrimony that the two will most likely never work together again. So AMC is offering their viewers a streaming video online of the season 3 premiere of “The Walking Dead,” hoping to hook their viewers enough to leave DISH and join a cable provider that carries AM C.
It started on (Friday, Sept. 28), DISH subscribers can now register at AMCTV.com for access to the free live stream of “The Walking Dead” Season 3 premiere. The episode will stream concurrently with the TV debut, which will allow DISH subscribers the opportunity to experience the first episode with everyone else. Of course, the mission is to have viwers find an alternative way to watch the episodes that follow. However, it’s a good gesture on the part of AMC, as well as one more step in their campaign against DISH.
Expect a few digs at DISH on October 14 from AMC. And check out the chilling new image from “The Walking Dead,” as the dead walkers stalk their living human prey.
