The Bentonville, Arkansas Police Department are on the hunt for a killer of 6-year-old angel Jersey Bridgeman, who has suffered more abuse in her 6 years on earth than many could fathom I a lifetime 10 times her age. Her father and stepmother were arrested last year (2011 for chaining the then 5-year-old to a dresser. They are at least in prison. But, the horrific story, of beautiful Jersey, who teachers described as a cheery and very upbeat little girl was found earlier this month in a vacant house, her lifeless body found in garbage.
Jersey Bridgeman endured a lot in her young life, including abuse at the hands of her father and stepmother, but school officials say she was still a happy little girl. Now, with the couple away in prison for chaining her to a dresser last year, authorities are trying to figure out who killed the 6-year-old. Her body was found in a vacant house this week in Bentonville, a northwest Arkansas city best known as the home of Wal-Mart’s headquarters.
In the last hours, an Arkansas man, Zachary Holly, described as a family friend is suspected of being involved with tiny Jersey’s death. Bentonville authorities are now holding this man for the capital murder of Jersey.
