Winter Is Coming ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season Three Countdown, THREE DAYS Until White Walkers Invade Westeros, Life And Death And Wights Hang In The Balance, Highlight Hollywood News

Season 3 of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” begins with chubby Samwell Tarly, abandoned by his mates of the Night’s Watch, running in terror through the mists on the far side of the Wall. And what follows? Wights Led by the ancient White Walkers, who plan a deadly return to Westeros. Will the Wildlings be able to stop them, with deranged but the powerful King Beyond the Wall, Mance Rayder?  Will the dragons arrive in the North in time to bring fire and death to these creatures?  I’m not telling, but I promise, by mid-season, you are in for an unbelievable battle!
As the wildly  popular adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s “Song of Ice and Fire” novels returns on Sunday night, the balance will slowly shift toward action as the plot builds, over the course of 10 exciting and full episodes, to some climactic mass bloodletting, in this case involving those who were hot on Sam’s heels.

“Game of Thrones” is my favorite HBO show ever, and it really goes to show that David Benioff and Dan (D.B.) Weiss, who produced “Troy” know very well how to bring epic stories to viewers.      The early episodes of Season 3 contain another sign of premium-cable conformity: plots or situations that address themes of slavery, women’s empowerment and sexual orientation in obvious, heavy-handed ways, particularly for a show set in a medieval fantasy world.

And fans will love Tyrion this season, who won’t have a majority of plotline, but  Peter Dinklage will prove why he deserves every award a TV leading man should get. In fact,        they are all fun to watch, even when their characters don’t have anything in particular to do besides relay information that

we need to keep up with the story or keep straight the seven  warring families. In any case, in “Game of Thrones” I can assure you, 10 weeks later, we’ll all be depressed by what will be the end of yet another season.

So until then, enjoy the ride, which kicks off in THREE, count them, 3 days!
