A suspicious package found in a Beverly Hills hotel Tuesday night turned out to be nothing dangerous, according to a Beverly Hills Police Department alert. The Beverly Hills Police Department immediately shut down the area around the Thompson Hotel at Wilshire Blvd. and Crescent Drive just after 8 p.m. for the investigation. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s department explosives unit responded and determined that the package did not contain an explosive device.
All streets were open as of about 9:40 p.m. again, according to the alert.
