Fans of AMC’s hit zombie TV series The Walking Dead are anxiously awaiting the return of the show in season 4. Carl’s life is spinning out of control, and Rick is taking on new people from Woodbury. Michonne’s relationship with Rick is growing, but we also don’t know what all Michonne’s secrets are. And the Governor is not done with Rick and his group.
Courtesy of a six-minute behind-the-scenes video clip looking ahead to the show’s fall return, executive producer Dave Alpert made a fairly bold statement to fans looking ahead.
“Whatever you think is going to happen in Season 4, I guarantee we’re going to surprise you. There’s a broader, bigger world out there and now that we’ve introduced the notion that there are more survivors out there, it’s only going to get more and more interesting. […] We’re not taking the brick off the accelerator. It’s only going to get bigger. It’s only going to get badder. It’ll only get meaner, and it’s going to get bloodier,” stated Alpert.
AMC’s The Walking Dead will be kicking off its fourth season on Sunday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central. The cast and crew are currently in production in Griffin, Ga.
