Days After His Daughter’s Birth, Alec Baldwin Gets Into Street Fight With Photographer In NYC, Pins Photog Against Car Hood, Highlight Hollywood News

New father Alec Baldwin has been accused of yet another violent temper tantrum  involving a freelance photographer. The habitual hothead grabbed a photographer near Baldwin’s West Village home  in front of several witnesses after noon on Tuesday.  In one snap of the sidewalk scuffle, the actor appears to be pinning the paparazzo  on the hood of a parked car.

The photographer reportedly called the police, and cops responded to the scene. Baldwin, 55, was defending his 29-year-old wife Hilaria, a friend of the Emmy  winner told celebrity website  Hilaria, who just gave birth to the couple’s daughter on Friday, had to duck  into a tea shop to avoid the unshakable snapper, the friend said.
A pick of Hilaria taken at the scene shows the brunette beauty wagging her  finger at someone with a stern look on her face.  “What kind of sick twisted psychopath chases a woman who just got out of the  hospital from having a baby into a tea store?” the friend told TMZ.  Baldwin has a long history of angry scraps with shutterbugs.  He was the subject of a criminal investigation last summer after a Daily  News photographer said the actor socked him in the face outside the city’s  Marriage License Bureau.
Baldwin’s spokesman said “no punches were thrown” and that any physical contact  resulted from the “30 Rock” star trying to protect himself.

Baldwin quickly took to Twitter to compare the June 2012 incident to the  fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin.  “I suppose if the offending paparazzi was wearing a hoodie and I shot him,  it would all blow over,” he tweeted.

The actor previously lashed out at photographers in California in 1995 and  Manhattan in 2010.

“Since giving birth, the word ‘love’ has taken on a whole new meaning. Its  depth, and intensity are overwhelming in the most welcome way,” she tweeted  Monday.
