Talented, exciting, Ssixty-four and still so stunning! Two-time Oscar winner Jessica Lange adds another gig to her storied resume as the newest face of Marc Jacobs Beauty.
The American Horror Story: Coven star was introduced by the luxury brand at a star-studded party in Paris on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Lange will be featured in Marc Jacobs Beauty summer and fall ad campaigns, which were shot by legendary photographer David Sims.
The first campaign pic features the gorgeous actress with smoldering dark eye makeup and fierce eyebrows (Sims notably also took photos of a somber-looking Miley Cyrus for Marc Jacobs’ spring 2014 fashion ad campaign after the designer’s usual go-to photographer Juergen Teller refused to work with the Bangerz singer.)
In addition to her print ads for the cosmetic brand, Lange also stars in a Jacobs-directed short campaign film, which will be streamed online beginning May 5. The role may be one of Lange’s last; after a nearly 40-year career, she confirmed back in November that she plans to retire from acting “within a couple years.”
Similar to MJ Beauty, cosmetics brand NARS announced Wednesday that it has signed 68-year-old British actress Charlotte Rampling to front the beauty company’s 20th anniversary campaign. Rampling, a close pal and muse of NARS Cosmetics founder Francois Nars, equally smolders in the black-and-white campaign preview shots found on WWD.
