Taylor Swift Joins NBC’s ‘The Voice’ Season 6 As Advisor, Report, Highlight Hollywood News
Beautiful, talented and super-popular pop starTaylor Swift has reportedly joined The Voice as the universal adviser for season 6. The singer will help all four coaches — Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams — as they strategize with their remaining teammates for the second round of battles. The round pits singers from the same team against each other in sudden-death duets.
The role, introduced last season along with the rebooted battle round, is still relatively new to the series, as Coldplay’s Chris Martin stepped in to equally mentor singers from all teams for the first time in the show’s run.
Us Weekly first reported the news of Swift’s turn.
NBC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The Voice returns to NBC on Sept. 22.
