FX’s hit drama ‘Sons of Anarchy’s’ evil genius Kurt Sutter has returned to the set. A major problem occurred while filming the “Sons of Anarchy” finale this week, as Sutter was forced to step down from his directing duties temporarily when he had to have his appendix removed. But nothing stops Kurt, not even a little pain and blood.
Filling in for Sutter on the Sons of “Anarchy” finale until he returned to set today was long-time SoA director Paris Barclay, who directed the premiere of this final season, along with episodes 7, 10, and 12. Sutter trusts Barclay very much, and knows that he can leave the helm to someone just as talented and aware of SoA as he is.
Millions of TV viewers are saddened to see the series end, but it most definitely is on a high-note, with ratings better than ever before.
“Sons of Anarchy” airs Tuesday night at 10 p.m. only on FX.
