‘Game Of Thrones’ Starlet Maisie Williams Arrives At The House Of Black And White In Season 5, All Men Must Die, Actress Speaks, Highlight Hollywood News

Maisie Williams had some interesting things to say on Arya’s journey in the upcoming Season 5 of Game of Thrones, when the young starlet spoke recently.   “I say this every year, it’s like, ‘Arya’s changed,’ but this year, as an actor, it was quite difficult for me because ‘Game of Thrones’ is sort of my safety net, my comfort blanket, because I come back every single year and it’s the same crew and stuff. This year was the first year that I was kind of like, ‘This is not the Arya that I am used to.’ And yeah, it was a big jump and I’m really nervous actually, for everyone to see it.”
Also, filming is sometimes in very strange places.  As Lady Arya’s Season 4 storyline ended, with a cold farewell to The Hound (Rory McCann), and the beginning of her trip across the Narrow Sea to Braavos.  Maisie also dropped a fun tidbit of information about that last shot of her, sailing away on the ship to Braavos.

“It was a good end to her storyline, but yeah, it was an epic shot and people kept Tweeting me like, ‘Where was that filmed?’ and I’ll be completely honest with you, it was filmed in a car park, with a green screen, so, on the day it wasn’t quite as epic as it looked by the end. But, yeah, it was fun.”
This season Arya’s change is due to her arrival in Braavos, and she ends up at the House of Black and White, where All Men Must Die.
“Game of Thrones” returns on Sunday, April 12 at 9 p.m. exclusively on HBO.
