TV Ratings Report: ‘Flash’ Edges Past ‘SHIELD,’ ‘The Voice’ Collapses, Highlight Hollywood News

The Trap
CBS holds the Wednesday victory in both total viewers and the adults 18-49 demographic, driven by steady outings of NCIS (1.9 adults), NCIS: New Orleans (1.8 adults) and Person of Interest (1.4 adults). Still, off one-tenth of a point from last week, it marked a series low in same-day scores for the original NCIS.

The show was not alone in hitting a low. The Voice, averaging a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49 and off half of a point from last week, brought a series low in night-of showings. Comedies Undateable (1.2 adults) and One Big Happy (0.9 adults) were each off two-tenths of a point before a steady Chicago Fire (1.5 adults).

ABC had a 10th anniversary special for Dancing With the Stars (1.7 adults) before Agents of SHIELD (1.4 adults) fell two-tenths of a point from last week. ABC News special Captive: A Journey of Survival and Hope fetched a 1.4 rating in the key demo.

Hell’s Kitchen (1.1 adults), New Girl (1.0 adults) and Weird Loners (0.6 adults) was steady on Fox.

At the CW, The Flash jumped two-tenths of a point from last week to a 1.5 rating among adults 18-49. That put it a shade above Tuesday’s other comic book-inspired series, SHIELD, for the first time since Flash’s series premiere. iZombie, holding with last week, followed with a 0.7 in the demo.
