BIO ON 1ST PLACE WINNER MARINA MUZE:Marina Muze was born in Lvov, Ukraine and moved to Chicago in 1999. Since childhood she loved to draw and dreamed of becoming an animator. In 2008 that dream came true: she worked at a PBS station, receiving two Emmy Nominations for her animated work.

Marina set out to create images of things that do not exist in reality; yet to make them look as real as possible, without a real reference. She began a series of pencil drawings and took the pseudonym Integral Maze in 2015. The character Integral Maze is a mathematerian, traveling from one galaxy to another, taking pictures (carbon drawings) of things it sees and beings it encounters.Recently, two of Marina’s art pieces were picked to be a part of a group exhibition at Argonne National Laboratory.
