Best Animal Realism Of 2015 Goes To Serstinskaja, McCartin, Rudolph, Witte, Hamilton-Grant, Laurence, Spence And Goodhall

Highlight Hollywood has the exclusive rights to reveal the results of the 50 categories of winning artists in the American Art Awards, decided by the 25 Best Galleries In America. In a series of articles expanding through October, we reveal, in daily features, the 1st to 6th Place winning images with artists info, one category at a time.

This year the online contest had submissions from 35 countries including Aruba, Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Croatia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain,South Africa, South Korea, Sweden, Thailand, UK, United Arab Emirates and USA.
I interviewed president of, Thom Bierdz (painter of the BLUE X paintings) and asked which artists this year won the ANIMAL REALISM category. Bierdz explained, “The best galleries in America awarded phenomenal artists from Lithuania, Australia, US, The Netherlands, Germany, France and UK. Danguole is an artist from Lithuania whose whole life has been revolving around animals, she is a famous Chihuahua breeder who has been breeding dogs for over twenty years. Another huge interest of Danguole is photo-realistic art, thus she has naturally combined the two and developed her skills as a realistic animal painter. Now she mostly paints using oil on paper and soft pastels, however she has years of experience using charcoal and pencils as well.
Commencing full time painting in 2002, John has recently been catapulted from relative obscurity to international acclaim as one of the world’s finest artists.
In 2014 he received over 25 MAJOR INTERNATIONAL ART AWARDS and is acknowledged as a master artist by many of the world’s leading artists and galleries. That number of awards has increased to over 40.
John was recently invited to exhibit with Settlers West Gallery and Trailside Galleries, two leading galleries in the United States and was hand-picked from those considered the best fine artists working in the world today to become an exhibiting member of MASTER PAINTERS OF THE WORLD.
