Zack Snyder’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice flew past the $500 million mark at the global box office on Tuesday, a milestone few films have accomplished in less than a week in release. The superhero showdown, teaming Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) on the big screen for the first time, has grossed $193.3 million in North America in only five days. Overseas, it has amassed $308.6 million for a global total of $501.9 million.
