Highlight Hollywood supports all venues of the entertainment industry, from politics to sports to cinema to fine arts. This year, we again have the exclusive rights to introduce our readers to the 25 Best Galleries In America, as designated by the American Art Awards. The impressive AAA board, headed by president Thom Bierdz, known to millions as Phillip Chancellor III on The Young & The Restless, chooses only one gallery per state per year. Their selections are based on years established, industry reputation, online buzz, location, size, represented artists as well as artist and client references. Bierdz explains, “In the past, American Art Awards has honored well over a hundred galleries. We study thousands of galleries each year and we are thrilled to select the South Dakota Art Museum as the Best Gallery In South Dakota, 2016.”
Since 1970, the South Dakota Art Museum in Brookings has been a place for people around the world to enjoy the artistic legacy of South Dakota in all its diversity.
