‘Outlander’ RECAP: ‘La Dame Blanche,’ Will Have A Meaning That Changes Everything, (VIDEO), Highlight Hollywood News

The fate is known, that is the fate of Black Jack Randall was at long last revealed to Jamie Fraser, and his reaction is surprising, to say the least. After spending an episode worrying about how Jamie (Sam Heughan) will react, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) finally told her husband that his tormentor was still alive.  Instead of reacting with rage or terror, as she expected, Jamie came to life in a burst of exuberance. He thought Randall (Tobias Menzies) was dead, but this has given him a new purpose in life, his  revenge.

The shocking news works in a way Claire could not have suspected, as Jamie also rediscovers his sex drive, unfortunately while at a brothel instead of at home with his wife. He stops himself before he goes too far, and the encounter ultimately leads to some long-awaited romantic sex between Jamie and Claire.

Jamie and Claire soon discover Louise’s (Claire Sermonne) affair is with Prince Charles (Andrew Gower), they plan a dinner party and set the stage to bring down His Royal Highness’ plans of rebellion once and for all.

But, not surprisingly Claire and Mary (Rosie Day) are waylaid by brigands, who manage to rape Mary before noticing a mark on Claire’s hand and running off scared, muttering the title of this week’s episode, “La Dame Blanche.”

Who or what is “La Dame Blanche”? That’s an answer that will have to wait because all hell breaks lose once Claire gets the unconscious Mary back home.

The dinner party is soon underway, but it’s tense, and Jamie and Claire’s plan to use Louise’s baby-daddy drama to their advantage is interrupted as Mary, still traumatized, fights off Alex (Laurence Dobiesz), not realizing he’s trying to help her.

It’s not long before an all-out brawl has broken out at the Fraser house, and St. Germain quickly and easily persuades Prince Charles to bow out of the  proceedings.  There’s a twist coming next week that no one will see coming.
