Highlight Hollywood has the exclusive rights to introduce our readers to the 25 Best Galleries In America, as designated by the American Art Awards. The AAA board, headed by president Thom Bierdz, chooses only one gallery per state per year. Their selections are based on years established, industry reputation, online buzz, location, size, represented artists as well as artist and client references.
“We study thousands of galleries each year,” explains Bierdz. “Wilder Nightingale Fine Art in Taos has been a very successful gallery for over 22 years. They represent over 35 Taos and regional artists, with eclectic works ranging from contemporary abstracts to traditional Taos landscapes in oil, pastel and watercolor. Leading artist’s such as BJ Briner, Tom Noble, Rory Wagner, Margaret Nes and Stephen Day give this gallery even more clout and we at American Art Awards name Wilder Nightingale Fine Art the Best Gallery In New Mexico, 2016, and one of our 25 Best Galleries In America, 2016.”
Owner Robert Wilder Nightingale studied art at Columbia College in Chicago, and subsequently fell in love with the art scene in Taos. After 15 years of working for the gallery, in 2013 he acquired complete ownership.
