Highlight Hollywood supports all venues of the entertainment industry, from politics to sports to cinema to fine arts. This year, we again have the exclusive rights to introduce our readers to the 25 Best Museums And Galleries In America, as designated by the American Art Awards. The AAA board, headed by president Thom Bierdz, chooses only one museum or gallery per state per year. Their selections are based on years established, industry reputation, location, size, socially relevant exhibits, motivational and educational programs, represented artists as well as artist, client and visitor references.
Bierdz explains, “In the past, American Art Awards has honored well over a hundred museums and galleries. We study thousands each year, specializing in different genres. The Brick Wall Photographic Gallery is the only Spokane, Washington, gallery dedicated entirely to photography – and over the past ten years they have exhibited some of the finest photography in America – works of local fine art, nature, and landscapes, as well as contemporary compositions by students and educators. The American Art Awards names Brick Wall Photographic Gallery the Best Gallery In Washington, 2016, and one of the 25 Best Galleries In America, 2016.”
ABOUT THE GALLERY:
Located at the north end Main Street skywalk downtown Spokane, the gallery is in the three story Bennet Building which dates back to 1890. The entire structure swells with photographic charm, and this is precisely why it is also the location of the photography studio of gallery owner Joe Nuess. The Brick Wall Gallery is a popular destination for monthly exhibits, as well as Spokane’s First Fridays.
The Brick Wall Gallery features a new photographer each month. Previously featured artists have photographs available for sale through the web site.
The gallery is located in downtown Spokane, Wa., on the skywalk just east of Macy’s in the Bennett Block.
