#GrabYourWallet: Nordstrom Is Dumping Ivanka Trump Brand

The Seattle-based Nordstrom department-store chain has confirmed that effective fall 2017 it is cooling its relationship with the brand the first daughter founded in 2007.   A Nordstrom spokesperson said on Thursday,  “We’ve said all along we make buying decisions based on performance. We’ve got thousands of brands — more than 2,000 offered on the site alone. Reviewing their merit and making edits is part of the regular rhythm of our business. Each year we cut about 10 percent and refresh our assortment with about the same amount. In this case, based on the brand’s performance we’ve decided not to buy it for this season.”

It’s unclear whether the #GrabYourWallet movement, which encourages shoppers to boycott the Ivanka Trump brand and any Trump-affiliated products, had anything to do with the development.tangerine-ivanka-trummp

In other Ivanka news, Pro Publica reported Thursday that the first daughter is still “listed in New York state business filings as the chief executive officer of her eponymous jewelry companies in Florida and New York.” Although she previously included links to ivankatrump.com on her personal Instagram and Facebook pages, they have since been removed, according to the independent non-profit newsroom.

The Trump brand has irrevocably been destroyed by Donald Trump revealing everyone’s concerns over his racist and bigoted views. They were showcased during his “birther-ism” nuttiness, but once he ran for President in 2015, he removed all doubt that anyone had that he was a racist.  Now, it’s crystal clear.
