LA Marathon Street Closures In Beverly Hills Announced, Plus Other Regions As Well

Sunday’s LA Marathon will shut down a 26.2 mile route from Dodger Stadium in Echo Park to Santa Monica, officials announced Wednesday.   Drivers in Echo Park, Silver Lake, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Century City, Westwood, Brentwood and Santa Monica are advised to prepare for major road closures including stretch of Hollywood, Sunset and Santa Monica boulevards.

The 32nd annual 26.2-mile Skechers Performance LA Marathon will travel from Dodger Stadium starting at 6:30 a.m. to Santa Monica. Streets along the marathon route will be closed by 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, then re-open as early as 10:15 a.m. Sunday, depending on the location.

 

The city’s transportation department will be enforcing a no-parking policy for some streets on the route.
