Beautiful Stray Schnauzer Finds New Home At A Monastery, Renamed Friar Moustache

Everyone loves a beautiful dog, but it’s heartbreaking when they don’t have a home and have to live a life of straying.  One puppy however is truly blessed! The new Friar Bigoton (Friar Moustache), a stray schnauzer who found his way into the Saint Francis Monastery in Cochabamba, Bolivia. He went from living on the streets to living life in his very own uniform, and all the men in the monastery are in love with the little guy. Including Friar Jorge Fernandez, who had this to say about their new mascot.  “His life is all about playing and running. Here, all of the brothers love him very much. He is a creature of God.”

Since Saint Francis is the patron saint of animals, it almost seems as if the adoption was meant to be. He is surrounded by peace and love, and lots food now.
