After Charlottesville, Lexington, KY Mayor Says Civil War Statues Are Being Used For Hate, He’s Removing His City’s Monuments Now

With a white supremacist President in the White House, I was appreciative to people on my social media pages who said, “you told us this was going to happen!”  It isn’t hard to understand, I have been called the worst name imaginable by racists, but they get their asses sued when they do.  I also knew Trump was a racist and that only racists supported him, and a few Uncle Toms like Ben Carson, who the right wing won’t vote for, but use to try to denigrate President Obama and any of us black men in power.  But the hate that filled Thomas Jefferson’s Charlottesville, was not new to me. I have seen it all my life, and Trump has only taken the hoods off the racists, those of you who supported him and turned on friends will have a day of reckoning coming, because Bob Mueller and karma are going to bring racist KKK Grand Wizard Donald Trump to his knees. jim-gray-2
The mayor of Lexington, Kentucky, says after the events in Charlottesville, Virginia, he is taking the steps to remove two Confederate-era statues from the lawn of a former courthouse.

Mayor Jim Gray tweeted Saturday he will ask the Lexington-Fayette County Urban County Council at its Tuesday work session to ask a state military commission for permission to take down the statues of John Hunt Morgan and John C. Breckinridge.

Gray tweeted he intended to make the announcement next week, but the “tragic events in Charlottesville” had accelerated his announcement.
