‘Game Of Thrones’ ‘Eastwatch’ A Game Changer, Southern Queens Fighting Eclipsed By The Night King’s Move

Immediately we’ll find out if Jaime Lannister survived his tumble into the lake or not, the focus of the fifth episode of Game of Thrones season 7 begins to shift northward. “Eastwatch” is a reference to one of the manned castles on the Wall. It is the same one Jon sent Tormund and the other Wildlings to in the season premiere. It is also the castle that the Hound saw in his fire visions.GameofThrones-Hardhome

Eastwatch is on the shores of the sea. During his vision, the Hound, in a line that was cut from the show, proclaimed ‘the waves are frozen.’ That could give the army of the dead a handy way to get to the other side of the Wall. Because it will probably represent the first defense against the army of the dead.

The seventh season of Game of Thrones is only seven episodes long, and next week’s penultimate episode is dazzling.

“Eastwatch” begins to set the stage for a major event in one week. “Game of Thrones” airs Sunday nights at 9PM only on HBO.  And follow “Game of Thrones AfterWord” for all breaking news on Facebook.     And to see 11 photos from tomorrow night’s episode click here! Photos and Trailer are below:
