Small Brush Fire Near L.A.’s 405 In The Sepulveda Pass Knocked Down Quickly By LAFD, No Injuries

A slow-moving fire burned about a quarter-acre of vegetation Thursday evening near the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass.  The non-injury fire was reported at 10:04 p.m. near Skirball Center Drive and knocked down in 23 minutes by 46 firefighters, said Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No structures were threatened by the fire, Bastman said.
