Scotland Yard’s investigation into Harvey Weinstein has expanded to now include 10 alleged victims. The latest allegation of sexual assault – one of 15 now lodged against the disgraced producer – was received on Feb. 8 from a woman who claims Weinstein assaulted her in the London borough of Westminster in the mid-1990s. It is the first to have been received in 2018.
“Officers from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command have received allegations of sexual assault from 10 victims under Operation Kaguyak,” said Scotland Yard in a statement issued on Wednesday. “There has been no arrest at this stage or interviews under caution.”
Weinstein has denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.
The latest investigation comes less than a week after a documentary aired on the U.K.’s Channel 4 called Working with Weinstein containing several fresh allegations. Another documentary, Weinstein: The Inside Story in the U.K. is due to air on the BBC on Thursday and on PBS in the U.S. on Friday.
