Written by Oscar nominee Steven Knight (Dirty Pretty Things, Peaky Blinders), Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Red Sparrow) will direct the series. Knight and Lawrence will executive produce the Chernin Entertainment/Endeavor Content effort alongside the company’s Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo.

See marks Momoa’s return to series regular television following roles in The Red Road, Netflix’s Frontier and Game of Thrones, in which he memorably starred as Khal Drogo in the hit show’s first season. His small-screen credits include North Shore, Baywatch: Hawaii and Stargate Atlantis. On the feature side, the actor will next star in the title role in DC Comics’ Justice League spinoff Aquaman, which is set to bow Dec. 21.
