Box Office: Tom Cruise’s ‘Mission: Impossible 6′ Races Past $330M

Paramount/Viacom Inc.’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout topped the weekend box office for a second time in a row, earning a whopping $35 million in its second Fri-Sun frame. That’s a drop of just 42.8% from its $61.236m debut weekend.
That’s a lower drop than any prior Mission: Impossible movie save for the glorified platform release of Ghost Protocol (a Fri-Sun debut in IMAX-only and then a wide release on the Wednesday of Christmas weekend). And it’s right alongside Edge of Tomorrow (-42%) as one of lower drops for a Tom Cruise movie in a very long time. Oh, and it has now earned $124.487m in ten days of domestic release.
