‘RHONJ’ Star Joe Guidice To Be Deported Back To Italy Following Prison Sentence

Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe Giudice (whose legal name is Giuseppe Giudice), has been ordered to be deported to his native Italy at the end of his prison sentence, Highlight Hollywood can confirm.

“EOIR records show that today, Oct. 10, 2018, Immigration Judge John Ellington ordered Giuseppe Giudice removed from the United States,” a spokesperson for the DOJ’s Executive Office of Immigration said via email.

Judge Ellington ruled on the order in Pennsylvania’s York Immigration Court on Wednesday morning. Giudice, who appeared on several seasons of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey alongside wife Teresa, has 30 days to appeal the decision.

According to reports, Teresa Giudice — who lives in New Jersey with her and Joe’s four daughters — was not present in court.

“Based upon the law, I find you deportable and ineligible for any kind of relief,” the judge announced at the hearing, according to Radar Online, the first outlet to report the news. “Mr. Giudice, no matter how this turns out, I wish you the best. I decided this case as a matter of law.”

Giudice is currently serving a 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud that began in March 2016. He is set to be released in 2019. Joe and Teresa Giudice both pleaded guilty in 2014 to 41 counts of fraud, making national headlines. Teresa completed her own 11-month prison stint in 2015.

The reality TV couple, who wed in 1999, share daughters Gia, 17, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 12, and Audriana, 9.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns to Bravo for its ninth season Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 9 p.m.
