Former Disney Channel star Kyle Massey, 27, is facing a lawsuit after allegedly texting explicit photos and videos to a 13-year-old girl.
According to court documents filed Friday, Massey, who starred on “That’s So Raven” from 2003 to 2007, first met the child’s family when she was 4 years old and “held himself out as a father figure” to her over the years.
The girl reached out in late 2018 to express interest in auditioning for a role on the recently-rebooted “Raven’s Home.” In response, Massey allegedly suggested that the girl fly out to LA and stay with him and his girlfriend while he helped her get a talent agent.
Days later, Massey allegedly proceeded to send the child “numerous sexually explicit text messages, images and videos,” including a Snapchat of himself holding his erect penis.
After “That’s So Raven” came to an end, Massey starred in his own Disney Channel spinoff, “Cory in the House.” He has not appeared on “Raven’s Home,” which is currently airing its second season, but he has continued to work with Disney as well as Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon in more recent years.
Massey is the younger brother of former Nickelodeon actor Christopher Massey, who starred on the network’s “Zoey 101.”
He is being sued for at least $1.5 million.
