The names and writing are worn and weathered, and often misspelled by the children who scrawled them. But they’re still there, still remembered — especially by the directors of Pet Sematary.PET SEMATARY

A new teaser video for the April 5 film features glimpses of graves specifically mentioned in Stephen King’s original 1983 book.

King fans will no doubt remember, “Trixie, Kilt In the Road” and, much harder to read, “Hannah, the best dog that ever lived.”

In the movie, directors Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer also include a grave for “Smucky the Cat — He Was Obediant” — which was the real name of King’s daughter’s pet, who met an early end in the country road outside their home long ago.
