Mayor Pete Buttigieg Compares Sen. Bernie Sanders To Pres. Trump

People in a cult are the last to get it. They are quick to point out others, but can’t see themselves in one. Bernie or Busters are in a cult, and Trumpanzees are in a racist cult. But it remains the same.

Bernie Sanders and President Trump are two sides of the same coin.

The 2020 presidential candidates appear to be polar opposites but now a new opponent is stirring things up.

That’s 37-year-old Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

He’s trying to appeal to voters by expressing what he calls similarities between his two opponents. Saying supporters for both feel marginalized and want to tear down the system.

According to the Washington Examiner, he spoke to a crowd in New Hampshire, saying this, “It just kind of turns you against the system in general and then you’re more likely to want to vote to blow up the system, which could lead you to somebody like Bernie and it could lead you to somebody like Trump.”

Trump has continually said one of his biggest accomplishments is the economy.

But Buttigieg says families are still struggling, expressing a sense of “anger and disaffection.”

As for Sanders, he says while he admires him, he doesn’t share some of the same views.
