Annapolis Marine Art Gallery Named Best In Maryland & One Of American Art Awards’ Top 25

Each Spring the American Art Awards Board of Directors selects their 25 Best Galleries and Museums in America, choosing only one museum or gallery per state per year. Selections are based on years established, industry reputation, online buzz, location, size, socially relevant exhibits, motivational and educational programs, represented artists as well as artist, client and visitor references.

Over 50 featured artists include: John Barber, the artistic essence of the Chesapeake, prints and original paintings; Willard Bond and the action of world-class sailboat racing; original oils, watercolors, and prints: Patrick O’Brien and the age of sail, prints and original paintings; Paul Landry’s romantic portrayal of the sea; John Ruseau for the best in watercolors – have an extensive collection of his originals and prints on display. Also, originals and limited edition prints of renowned artist John Stobart.


UPCOMING SHOW:  Joyful Enriquez, Noted Young Artist from Florida will hold a demonstration and workshop April 28 and 28, Her show “Water and Light, featuring sea life and underwater ocean light in action, will be on display in May, 2019.

UPCOMING SHOW:  “The Annapolis Invitational Marine Art Exhibition, cooperation with the National Maritime Historical Society and featuring members of the American Society of Marine Artists, will take place May 4 through May 26, 2019.  The paintings will be shown at the National Press Club before being moved their Annapolis show. The roster of artists is a who’s who of marine artists, including Patrick O’Brien, John Stobart, Russ Kramer, and Bill Davis. The show will feature classic marine art in its grandest form. Mostly representational, it will feature famous scenes from history, the golden age of sailboat racing, and traditional Chesapeake scenes.
