Best Living Canadian Artists

31 Canadian artworks were selected in September by the international American Art Awards online art competition which is scored by the 25 Best Galleries & Museums in America. 14 stunning pieces by Canadians are shown in this article.

In 2018, artists from 60 countries entered online images in the 50 categories, and artists from 44 countries took prizes. Americans understandably took the most wins because the contest is more publicized in the USA, and therefore more Americans entered. Just because Americans won 185 awards, it should not be interpreted Americans are more talented as artists, in fact, the percentage of submissions to wins is pretty much the same in all countries.
