San Francisco’s Iconic Transamerica Pyramid For Sale For First Time, Asking $600M

One of the most iconic and well-known buildings of the San Francisco skyline, the Transamerica Pyramid, is on the market for the first time in its history.

The sale will also reportedly include two adjacent buildings at 505 Sansome St. and 545 Sansome St.

All three buildings combined have 760,000 square feet of office space to offer a buyer.

Transamerica Corp. intends to retain naming and branding rights in the sale, Jay Orlandi, the company’s chief administrative officer, told the Business Times.
