BIO OF 1ST PLACE WINNER KARYN HONOR: Photography is a hobby that my husband and I enjoy together as much as possible. I got my first starter camera (Nikon D3400) in May 2018 and took it everywhere with me. Within a few months my husband bought me a better camera, geared more toward wildlife photography (Nikon D500) so I could take professional photos. I have a deep passion for wildlife. It poses such unique challenges, such as finding the animals, low lighting and getting a good pose. My other love is landscapes, most especially sunrise and sunsets. Every weekend is an adventure of finding something to photograph or somewhere new to explore. Honestly, I enjoy everything about capturing any unique moment in time. It is a labor of love and learning that teaches me to appreciate new things about the world around me, people, and myself on a daily basis.
